Hi friends!  Welcome back to my blog and welcome to a fresh, new week!  As much as I LOVE the weekend, I’m also one of those weird people who like Mondays.  I enjoy the rhythm of the slow weekend, followed by a GSD start to the week.

I prepare my schedule for the week on Sunday with all my workouts, appointments, blog posts and to-do’s so I’m ready to go with a plan on Monday morning.  And I’ve made it a habit to do my favorite workout class on Mondays- it’s an hour HIIT/weight lifting class taught by Colleen- a woman in her 60s with the best personality and motivation.

Hi friends!  Yay for Friday!!  We don’t have anything on the agenda except for Tarah’s baby shower and that will be so fun!  They girls are throwing her a “high tea” themed party and have overlooked no detail, so I know it will be fabulous!

My Amazon Home and Patio Refresh inspired me to do more decluttering on Thursday, so my house if feeling super light and fresh.  I’ll plan to share photos with you soon!

Hi friends! I hope your week is going amazing!  I’m looking forward to a girls’ dinner tonight to celebrate our friend Elizabeth’s birthday.  She is one of the funniest people I know, so it’s always a blast getting to see her.

And we’re having glorious coolish weather, perfect for an evening outdoors!  Thursday is normally date night, but Brian has a client dinner tonight, so it worked out.  I do appreciate that he made the effort to see me for lunch yesterday instead! Sooo sweet!

Hi friends!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend and even better Mother’s Day.  We spent the day in Galveston at the beach with my family (and Brian!) and it was so fun to have everyone together.  We are a small, but super tight group and I love watching the kids grow up together. ♥

James loves hanging out with his two girl cousins that are his age and Jordan’s little BFF is her cousin CJ, who’s 6 months younger.  They are two peas in a pod and I can’t get enough of their cuteness!
