NEW Sephora for 2021

I have 2 previous Sephora posts but I realized it’s easier to combine my suggestions and favorites into 1 post so that’s what I’ve done here! If you want to check out my other posts, they are here (November 2020) and here. (May 2019).

PRODUCTS I’M STILL LOVING

Tartelette Eye shadow Palette has become a new favorite! Such pretty colors and omg, the smell! Who would’ve thought that eye shadow could smell so good. Ha! I use the color ‘Bloom Clay.’

Sunday Riley Tidal Enzyme Brightening Water Cream (i.e. moisturizer) – This moisturizer I got turned on to about a year ago. Wish I remembered how but assume it’s from when I was in the store one day and it was recommended by a sales woman. Well, it is a little more on the pricey side but I have bought it again and again. A little goes a long way and I love that I feel it works well enough to use both morning and night, although I only use it at night. It has gotten me through quite a few winters now!

Farmacy cleansing balm – Love this for my face wash. It is gentle (i.e. doesn’t irritate my eczema prone skin) and gets off my make up well, including my waterproof mascara!

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum – I finally tried this serum last year and have been quite happy with it! It gets a lot of good reviews and I understand why. My main reason for trying it is the Vitamin C but it has a lot of other worthy ingredients as well. It does go on well and doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily. I only use it in the am.

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation – Once I found this foundation, I have stopped trying others. I love it that much! To clarify though, it is a very light foundation, making it perfect for everyday. It is my holy grail for what I used to wear to the gym because it’s light enough to not make you look like you’re wearing foundation but provides enough coverage so you don’t look bare faced. Nowadays, I just wear as my everyday light foundation.

Nars The Multiples (in Orgasm) – I’ve had my beloved Nars The Multiples for some years now. Have you read the reviews? I mean you just can’t go wrong with it! It has multiple uses (duh!) and the color is perfect on so many skin tones.

It! Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50 – Ok, so this is the actual foundation I use when I want more coverage, say for going out on the weekend or anytime I want to look more presentable. It! Cosmetics has a few different lines so they’re certainly worth checking out because they’ll have one that works for anyone. Personally, this is the line I like. It is much thicker so a little goes a long way when applying it. But it creatives beautiful smooth looking skin. And don’t be afraid to exchange it if you end up with the wrong color at first.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel – I mean, this is where clear brow gel began, if you ask me! So of course, it’s a no brainer to recommend it. There are a lot more options out there since this one came on the market and even ones with color but I prefer the clear gel for everyday. And this one is just the best.

It! Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer – When you have dark under eye circles you’re always on the hunt for the right product to cover them up with. And this product from It! Cosmetics is another amazing beauty product. It has good coverage but I especially love that it’s waterproof so wearing for my work outs means I don’t have to worry about how my under eye bags will look when I’m done. I use this DAILY!! I do also, sometimes layer it under another if I need more coverage.

OTHER

Herbivore Jade Face Roller. I may be late to the jade face roller here but for me, I’ve been wanting to try one and this seem like a good time to finally do it! So I bought it in November and have been using it since. I did watch a You Tube tutorial to make sue I was using it right but there’s not much to it, other than you’re supposed to use it consistently. I use it right before I apply my make up in the morning.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 (Bloom is my favorite simple color) – Fresh makes the best lip glosses! And I’m calling them glosses but really, they’re a mix of a gloss and lip stick I guess? In any case, they have the best texture, smells and of course a good choice of colors! I’ve found the color ‘Bloom’ to be a good everyday neutral.

Smashbox Primer – This is also a product I started using some years ago and keep coming back to because I love the texture and feel like it does a good job. I tried some others before I landed on this one and have been loyal to it. I don’t use it everyday since I do use a Coola BB Cream with SPF everyday but when I am applying make up for the evening, I definitely use it.

Tarte Bronzer in Pink Avenue Princess – This is a great bronzer I got hooked on. It’s clay, matte and waterproof and just like the eyeshadow palette, has a smell I love! And obviously, I’m a fan of the color, too.

Dior Lip Addict – I just ordered this in a more sheer color since it got such great reviews and I’m ready to have a new lip gloss! I did previously buy it in a pink that is a little bright for me but it has a strong smell. I’m hoping the sheer one has a different smell; and it’s not the the smell is bad, it’s just strong in a different way then the Tarte products. Ha!

Chloe Rollerball – I love a good rollerball or travel perfume. It’s an easy way to try a new scent without the commitment of a large quantity at a high price. My favorite is Chloe, but I also love Gucci Bloom.

Smashbox Finishing Spray – This is a great finishing product, if you remember to use it. Ha! I try to use it when I’ve put on make up for a special occasion. I’ve also found if you spray it on a pointy angled brush and swipe it in eyeshadow, it is good for using eyeshadow as eyeliner.

Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow Palette – This is a great duo product of bronzer and highlighter. I love the colors of both and of course, having a duo product is great for travel!

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen – This is the BEST! It goes on so smoothly and nicely and doesn’t feel too greasy at all. It does come in a ‘glow’ version but I prefer the regular version personally.

Glamglow Bright Eyes Anti-Fague Eye Cream – I sometimes rotate my undereye cream but this is one I always come back to because I love it! It has great texture, i.e. creaminess, but a little goes a long way and of course, I think it does work.

MASKS & HAIR

Saturday Skin Spotlight Brightening Mask – I’m out of masks at the moment, did a little search on the site and this set seems like a great option for brightening, which is what I usually like in a mask. So, I bought the set of 5 back in November and have used them all!

Oleoplex No.3 Hair Mask – This hair mask is known as being a great product and I have it, but forget to use it all the time!

T3 Hairdryer & Straightner – I’ve been using these T3 hair products for a long time now and love them so much! They’re light weight and just all around good products. I even have the travel version of the hair dryer!

Living Proof Shampoo & Conditioner – I have a been a long devotee of Living Proof for a long time now. I started with the Everday line, then got the Frizz line and now i use the Color Care line. I sometimes rotate between 2 different brands of shampoo & conditioner, but 1 of the brands is always Living Proof. I can’t say enough about their haircare line. I also use the Restore Spray and the Dry Shampoo.

Don’t forget to use code OMGSPRING and the sale ends Monday, April 19th.

Happy shopping!

Spring Outfit Ideas

With Spring right about the corner, I got outside one nice day recently to take some photos of some outfit ideas, which I am sharing here. Some items are new, some are old. And while these outfits may not be the most exciting, for those who are stuck in a loungewear rut (myself a little bit included here, ha!), hopefully, it will motivate you to put on those jeans again and be happy for warmer temps again!

Outfit #1

What’s new/old from above? The top is new from Old Navy and it is a nice thick knit. I grabbed the stripes because navy stripes is very “spring” to me but it also comes in a solid white. The little graphic on it just adds a fun detail to spice up a solid striped top. I believe there is a gray version and it has a peace symbol. The jeans are old and the sneakers aren’t new to me but still available and great universal colors! Another option is to pair this whole outfit with white sneakers, too.

Outfit #2

What’s not to love about camo? It’s one of the easiest ways to add visual interest to an outfit. I also love how camo comes in so many different colors and versions. The Z Supply top I’m wearing here I got back in the Fall but is still available! If you aren’t over the matching loungewear look yet, it does have matching joggers (which I also happen to own). I paired it with my same favorite Agolde jeans and my new Nike Daybreak sneaker, which is definitely one of my favorite purchases for Spring!

Outfit #3

These 2 outfits were obviously taken at different times because when I put together the outfit on the left with the green Gap top that I got last year (!), I didn’t expect for Gap to re-release it shortly after taking the photo AND add a matching short option (lucky me that they offered the shorts in the same mint green color). So, of course, I opted for the matching shorts to try the coordinated look but you don’t have to do that of course. And it does come in 3 other color options, 2 of which are tie dye. And you can also mix and match them as I clearly did with the top by just pairing it with jeans and white sneakers.

Outfit #4

This outfit here couldn’t be any simpler. Take a camo tee, add some leggings, throw on a high top and voila! And of course, if it’s still a bit chilly out, or just a touch colder then you’re comfortable with, then grab the jean jacket to throw over it and go. Or pair it with joggers instead of leggings. The camo tee I’m wearing here is from Old Navy and a great option not just for leggings, but perfect length for joggers or jean shorts, too. I’m wearing my good ole spanx leggings and my favorite p448 high tops but really any high top or sneaker works! Also, my jean jacket is oversized but another jacket option would be an anorak.

Outfit #5

It wouldn’t be honest to not include some version of a comfy outfit here, right?! So at least this outfit isn’t matching loungewear – it’s just good ole joggers with a simple top and sneaker. My top is a favorite from Target that IS kind of considered loungewear but I have been wearing it out of the house like above since I got it. Yes, it does have matching bottoms (shorts & pants) if you want to have them around for actual lounging, then go ahead and grab them. My joggers are a favorite from Lululemon. I have owned them in the blue crop version and black full length but finally grabbed them in the blue full length and have proceeded to already get plenty of use out of them. And of course, same Nike sneakers here as other outfit. Feel free to mix up your sneakers more then I am doing. Hahaha.

Outfit #6

What’s more classic and simple then a white button down and jeans? Instead of dressing this look up a bit, I say go more casual and pair the outfit with sneakers since being comfortable is still completely acceptable! And if you want to take the casual look up a notch, add some bigger earrings or statement necklace.

Outfit #7

I love the colors of this top for Spring! And the material is soft and comfortable, perfect for some of those cooler days or mornings. I paired it with casual white sneakers for an easy look but a bootie or mule is also an easy idea to dress it up a bit more.

Happy shopping!

Target Try On: A New Day & Joylab

With Spring on my mind, on a recent Target trip, I grabbed a bunch of new tops (and a pair of leggings) from A New Day and Joylab. And let me say, I love them all! Sooo many great options for Spring! Or, if you’re lucky enough to live where it is already warmer, then you should be wearing them now!

Joylab

All the Joylab pieces do come in various colors and there are even a few more styles available that I didnt get because they werentt in store or in my size.

Tank and Leggings

I grabbed the tank in this picture because I loved the cut, the color and the material is soft! Shorter, boxier muscle tanks still seem to be ‘on trend’, so if you don’t have one like this already, grab this one! I especially love the taupe color that it comes in! As for the leggings, they are a bit outside my comfort zone but I figured it’d be fun to try on a set, plus, ribbed leggings are on my ‘to buy’ list for Spring. Why not just grab the pair right in front of me? As for the material, when I felt them I expected them to not fit so well or feel good on since they felt a bit stiff. But, I was wrong! They are stretchy and perfectly comfortable on. They do have those little airholes on the leg and I sized up from my usual XS to a small.

Hoodie and Crewneck

As for the 2 tops, I grabbed them to make it a whole set. I liked them both, although they are clearly different. The great thing is they are both stretchy so, depending on your style, you have options. Also, I got both in a size small, one up from my normal size again.

A New Day Tops

Tees

My favorite of the tops from A New Day were the tees. They were all exceptionally soft, fit nicely and very well priced, ranging from $12-$8. The taupe tie dyed tee has a cute cuff sleeve and falls really well. I got it in an XS. It comes in other colors. The white puff sleeve I liked even more once I put it on and has a cute little detail on the side of the sleeve. As for the crewneck, it’s just that, a crewneck, but a really nice fitting one! And it comes in a large variety of color options. I am wearing a a small in the puff sleeve and crewneck.

Tanks

Of the tops from A New Day, there were some great tank options, too, with one standout as my favorite, the u-neck tank. Just like the tees, they were all soft and well priced, most are only $8. However, not all fit me quite as well except for the u-neck style, which fit me the best, and I think it is universally flattering. Also, like the tees, the tanks all come in a variety of colors and have a straight hem. The ribbed tank, on the left, has a higher neck; I am wearing a medium in the solid white version below (the tie dye purple version is shown later with the cardigan). It is soft and stretchy but was pulling a little across my chest and a bit longer then I prefer. I’m wearing it with a standard jean jacket and my favorite Lululemon Align jogger crops. The u-neck tank is surprisingly soft and hits nicely at the waist; I’m wearing it in an XS with my favorite Agolde jeans and sandals from Amazon.

Cardigan and Tie Dye Ribbed Tank

I am not a big fan of cardigan’s, however, I realize that a lot of people ARE and of course, they’re very in style. So I grabbed this purple cardigan and a coordinating version of the ribbed tank in a tie dye version to pair with it. I liked the cardigan much more then I expected on me! It is very thin though, nicely ribbed, and lays well. I am wearing it in an XS and definitely think for my height, the length was right (I am 5’1). As for the tank, I’m wearing a small but you can’t see it pulling across my chest much, which is either because the tie dye makes it harder to see or the tie dye version fits a little differently. I’m wearing it with the same Agolde jeans and sandals as in the previous photo.

Here’s to hoping spring comes sooner then later and happy shopping!

New Old Navy for the New Year

So we made it through 2020 and now have a new year to be thankful for! Like most people, the new year gets me excited for new clothes! I must confess, usually I am going to south Florida over President’s Day Weekend and I start shopping for new clothes around this time but alas, this year that trip isn’t happening. Instead, I just decided to order some new clothes from Old Navy since I haven’t shopped there since Fall. I was quite excited to try a bunch of the new clothes they have! And it’s not like they don’t often have a discount or promotion happening to make buying from here enticing.

Tie Dye Joggers

I ordered these tie dye joggers because why not more joggers AND more tie dye!? There is a new version of the top I’m wearing that matches with the joggers but since I already the one I’m wearing below, I didn’t re-order it (link is to the new version to match the joggers). I wear the top with some blue pajama leggings I had but why not have a matching set? The new version of the color is called ‘tie dye cool’ and same goes for the joggers

What I liked: It is a soft comfy fleece inside like the sweatshirt, they have pockets but they’re not bulky or noticeable, the lay nicely

What I didn’t like: A little long, and a little baggy but no biggie

Size ordered: XS in the joggers (top I have in medium)

Cargo Joggers

I don’t own any cargo pants, or joggers, of any kind mostly because the pockets don’t always work for my body type but I felt this was a good pair to try. Plus, they’re fleece inside and I loved the green color – called ‘money maker’.

What I liked:

What I didn’t like:

Size ordered: XS

Leggings #1

These CozeCore leggings are slightly warm inside for those cold days when you want a little extra warmth in your leggings. And truth be told, if you’re like me, you’ve been outside WAY more this time of year then ever before! Color is ‘medium gray’

What I liked: Dark gray color, brushed material inside, i.e. warm, seam down the back of the leg

What I didn’t like: I could BARELY get these on! The waist seam at the hip and waist had almost zero stretch. My recommendation – try them but SIZE UP!! (I just re-ordered them in the petite small). Also, they are a bit long on me

Size I ordered: XS

Leggings #2

I was drawn to the pattern of these high-waisted leggings power soft leggings in ‘gray leopard.’ I was hoping they’d fit and feel like my other pair since I happen to really like those (and oddly are a pattern as well called ‘charcoal snake’!) so why not try these? I am wearing it here with my fav Athleta Polartec fleece (in XS). Note that this pair does NOT have pockets.

What I liked: Pattern, feel of material, comfortable flat waistband. LOVED THESE

What I didn’t like: Not much other then they are bit long but since they’re tight enough at the ankles, you can barely tell they’re too long

Size I ordered: XS

French Terry Yoga Jogger Pants

This pair of yoga jogger pants was SO random of me to order. It is not generally my style to order loose baggy jogger pants but yet I was intrigued. Maybe they’d look better then I expected, you know? Color I got is ‘alpine tundra.’ Yep, another green!

What I liked: Love this green color and the simple comfort of these; thin material better suited for warmer temps

What I didn’t like: They weren’t the most flattering at the waist/hip area. The fold over waistband didn’t lay flat

Size I ordered: XS

Tank Top

Honestly, I only ordered this tank top because I felt like how could I order exercise bottoms and layering tops and NOT order a tank? So I threw it in. Color I got is ‘lilac cloud.’

What I liked: Pretty color! Light, comfortable material, racerback

What I didn’t like: SO long!

Size I ordered: XS

Fleece Pullover

I decided to order this fleece cropped pullover sweatshirt because I got a funnel neck fleece last winter from Old Navy that I loved. I figured why not try it in a slightly different style. Color I got is ‘dark heather gray.’

What I liked: Color, comfy cozy fleece, funnel neck

What I didn’t like: Definitely shorter length, funnel neck is a bit large, no thumb holes

Size I ordered: XS

Wearing here with Cozecore legging

Fleece Jacket

I’ll confess, living here outside DC, this fleece jacket isn’t likely to be warm enough for the dead of winter but it was so darn cute that I wanted to try it anyway! Color I got is called ‘Lost in the Woods.’ But I also love it in the pink!

What I liked: The dark forest green color, slim fitting but room in the arms, thumb holes, good pockets, hood

What I didn’t like: The material didn’t feel warm AT ALL to me despite what it being what they call ‘dynamic fleece’ – and that “fleece” is not on the chest area, just in the arms

Size I ordered: XS

Crewneck Tie Dye Sweatshirt

Ok ok, did I need more tie dye? Probably not but I liked the colors a lot for Spring and the top just seemed fun! It is meant to be cropped and loose so I was unsure of what size to get. Color is called ‘blue/pink shibori tie dye’

What I liked: Love these colors for Spring; stretchy comfortable top, dolman sleeve

What I didn’t like: Definitely cropped so size up, wide waist band at hips

Size I ordered: Small

Textured Waffle Knit Sweater

Ok, I confess, I’ve been craving a new sweater. I have barely bought any this winter as I haven’t had much reason to wear them but every so often I do put on jeans and wear a sweater, and you know, a new one is always nice! I’m not big on cowl necks but it’s always worth a try! Plus, I am love waffle texture this time of year. Color I got is ‘mauve.’

What I liked: Color, feel, fit, texture, neck

What I didn’t like: It has some acrylic in it and I tend to shy away from acrylic but the amount in this sweater is pretty minimal

Size I ordered: Small (this was based on reviews and I want it longer)

Mock Neck Sweater

I love a good mock neck sweater this time of year! It keeps me warm without the tightness around the throat from a regular turtleneck. Yep, I’m one of those who feels like turtleneck is choking me. Ha! This one seemed different since it is garment-dyed, which is what made me also want to try it. Color I got is ‘a little rusty.’

What I liked: The color, the neck, the material, fit

What I didn’t like: Not much I didn’t like!

What size I ordered: XS

Why Old Navy?

Obviously, it’s totally up to you. Old Navy can be great for so many reasons – the price and often the quality is amazing FOR the price you can get their clothes for! But, also, if you’re big on trends, getting trendier items like cropped sweaters or tie dye, for a fair price is always a plus. That way, there’s a little less guilt if you find a year or two later, you’re no longer wearing the item, you can easily give it away. IF you’re a cardholder from any of the brands – Old Navy, Gap, Banana, or Athleta – there are extra benefits like more discounts, rewards, ease of returns and sometimes free shipping, too! So, get on with it and go shopping!

Fall & Winter Outfit Ideas (Including Good Sweatshirt Options)

Happy new year! Funny that it’s the new year and here I am sharing outfits from the Fall and Winter of 2020 that I hadn’t bothered to share yet, which includes a bunch of sweatshirt options. The good thing is that a bunch of the items are still in stock. (Note: I apologize for the quality of some of the photo’s – I’m still not the best at it editing them! Can we say 2021 goals? Ha!)

Outfit #1

This was an outfit that I wore to an outdoor yoga class at our country club before heading straight to one of my daughter’s soccer games. So layers were necessary. Under the sweatshirt is a short sleeve Lululemon tee, which is what I actually wore during the yoga work out. And the high tops were a new brand to me, P448. While I’d heard of P448 and seen some of their shoes at Nordstrom in the past, their older styles never spoke to me before but then this Fall, WOW, I love so many of them!! Below is the first pair I got and was SOLD. Not only did they fit my small feet but they were so much comfier then I expected! I loved them enough to get another pair (wearing below in another outfit).

Outfit #2

This outfit is actually from one of the rare evenings we went out. The theme was ‘apres ski’ for an outdoor trivia event at the country club. It was a cool evening so I was trying to find the balance between warm and sticking with the theme. The vest is quite old from Banana Republic unfortunately. Also, the black top I’m wearing is by Madewell that I got at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and is also no longer available. But I like it for the neck and the material since it’s not a sweater but more of a cross between a knit top and a blouse basically (I linked a similar one). And my shoes are a beloved pair by Jslides that are warm inside and one of my favorites for winter time but my exact pair is no longer available.

Outfit #3

This outfit is clearly from one of those randomly warmer late Fall days that were lucky to have! I’m pretty sure I wasn’t going anywhere special this day other then likely a carpool run but I wanted to wear the short sleeve tee while I still could! This one happens to be from a local boutique but the joggers are the beloved ones from Lululemon! I linked other good graphic/concert tees below.

Outfit #4

Pretty sure this outfit was just a quick change after a morning walk. I wore the sweatshirt, vest and leggings for the walk but changed my shoes to run a few errands. The sweatshirt is by the brand Mother, a brand you know for their jeans. I got the sweatshirt back in January on a whim on a trip to Rehoboth Beach. Seems like AGES ago but let me say I’m so glad I got it because it is SO soft! One of the best purchases I’ve gotten in the way of sweatshirts EVER. Plus, who could have predicted that tie dye would be come so “IN” come quarantine time and the trend is still going strong! The vest is a recent purchase from Gap to replace an older vest from Old Navy that wasn’t fitting well over all the sweatshirts I’ve been wearing these days. And the shoes….the other pair of P448’s that I got. Love this pair, too!

Outfit #5

This outfit is from one of those rare days where I decided to put on jeans after I exercised and showered to go run some errands. Let me tell you it was rare, hence why I’m smiling here – I was so proud of myself. Ha! The jacket is that reversible bomber one I got at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale that is no longer available but Lululemon has a great similar option. The top is from this local vendor who sells PixieLane, and the jeans are older Rag & Bone (that still fit, ha!). The shoes though, they are new, the p448 brand of course! They are my regular size although a little looser then the high tops, but they are comfy and fit! And go with a lot of clothes.

Outfit #6

Ugh, this photo isn’t great which makes me think I didn’t intend to share it but oh well, here it is! I’m in this comfy waffle top, leggings, and my new Ugg mini boots for a recent day where I don’t think I really left the house other then to pick up lunch. But I did wear a similar outfit to this in early December when we went to St. Michaels for the day as a family. I love having a comfy shirt to go with leggings and one that isn’t too thick to comfortably wear under a jacket for awhile is a plus. And my leggings….I have so many different black leggings that I don’t even know which pair this is. It could’ve been an Aerie pair, Alo pair, or even an Everlane pair. Sorry! I did link them all.

abercrombiewaffletee

Outfit #7

Well, another good looking photo of me. Ha! This is after I got the new sweatshirt I’m wearing here from I Stole My Boyfriend’s’ Shirt. This company takes old sweatshirts and reuses them and adds embroidery, which is hand sewn. So the sweatshirts aren’t the cheapest because they’re one of a kind but I was able to grab this one on a special ‘deal of the day.’ It is a soft cotton terry inside and I’m wearing an XS/S. Wore it with some simple black leggings one day and jeans (!) another!

Outfit #8

This outfit has become one of my ‘go to’ outfits for when I don’t know what to wear and it’s not freezing out. I got the top and leggings at Bloomingdales at the same time, FYI. Also, for once, this isn’t a mirror selfie and that’s because I got a tripod for my phone. Then, I proceeded to practice using it with this outfit. (How’d I do?!) The version of my top below is sold out but there is a similar version in a different color that is still available. Also, my leggings here are actually blue, not black, and are so soft and comfy! And I love my new camel Ugg booties for easy of putting on and because they go with a lot of outfits.

Outfit #9

I got th Z Supply top below early in the Fall from a local boutique but you can still find it online right now directly on Z Supply’s site. Its soft and has thumbholes! I paired it here with the same Lululemon align joggers that I love and the cute white Nike sneakers I got in early Fall, too. By the way, I got A LOT of new pieces from Z Supply this year. I’ve worn clothes from the brand in the past but for some reason, I was buying up pieces from them left and right this year!! You’ll see me wearing a few of them in the next pics but one top I got in late August from a boutique at the beach that I never did get a good picture of is this cute one in gray (also linked below the picture). I wore it a bunch of times despite not having a good photo to show for it other then at Thanksgiving dinner, and that one isn’t great. Also, I should mention that both of my girls got some sets from their new kids line, one of my daughters actually got 3 different sets! So I can tell you that we’re a fan!

Outfit #10

It wouldn’t be right to not include a set that I have, right?! I truthfully tried on so many different sets this past year but most of them didn’t speak to me or my style….except for this one oddly, which is by Z Supply. Plus, the black set in the next photo and a set from Electric & Rose (seen here, although I did end up selling the hoodie and got the crewneck instead). Its a lot of pattern but I felt I liked it enough to keep it and of course, it helped that I could match with my daughter (link to hers here)!

Outfit #11

Here’s the Z Supply set I got in the fall, with another pic I took using the phone and tripod. This set I LOVE! Of course, it’s partially because it’s black and therefore, versatile, but it was quite comfortable of course. Plus, this pair of joggers really fit me well and I LOVED that they don’t have pockets! The top also comes in a dark green, which I got as well. My thought was options, right?! Of course, I paired the outfit with my new favorite high tops for an easy way to add some fun to a simple outfit. (linked joggers & top above with links in case they’re sold out with the links below the photo)

Outfit #12

This outfit is clearly one of me at the mall – I randomly stopped in the hat department on my way out of Nordstrom and while I’m not wearing a hat in this photo, I did get the hat I tried on this day later on and love it! It’s this one by Kyi Kyi. In any case, the reason I took this photo was because I was making an effort to wear some of my older clothes this day. I often forget how many clothes I have that aren’t new but that I still like a lot! This top was from Aeropostale last Fall and I am wearing it with faux leather leggings and my new P448 sneakers. Plus, my MZ Wallace crossbody purse and of course, a mask!

Outfits #12 & 13

These 2 outfits are obviously quite similar because I’m wearing 2 new sweatshirts I got from the same company, Style Reform. I’d been thinking about a sweatshirt from this company for quite a few years now but was always afraid to pull the trigger. The price isn’t the cheapest so without knowing the quality, I was always afraid. I finally got the chance to feel one in person over the summer (and loved it) so after that, it was just waiting for the right time to finally click BUY. Well, that came with the Black Friday promotion when I grabbed the white one (style is called ‘poppy). Then, I grabbed the black version (style called ‘dean’) from a different online site when it was also on promotion. Voila, 2 new sweatshirts that I LOVE!! They are so soft and cozy inside that you will want to keep them on for as long as possible. I liken them to the tie dye sweatshirt I have from the Mother brand. Trust me, even one is a great addition to your wardrobe. Note: I am wearing a small in both.

And there you have it, lots of outfit options and ideas! Happy shopping and bring on 2021!!
