Experience An Extraordinary Outdoor Antique Market
The Heights, Houston – May 17, 2009 – Come out and discover The Urban Market Houston – people are raving about it. Grab a friend and spend the day checking out some of the best antiques, home furnishings and designer goods in town. And they are marked to MOVE!
Jackie Sharbrough has put together a fantastic show featuring designers , decorators, and antique shop dealers in an open air (beautifully tented) Antique Market in Houston.
With each Market the line of anxious buyers grows. The Urban Market, founded in 2004, will be held near the Heights at the Knights of Columbus Fields & Hall, 607 E. Whitney Drive.
The dealers will be set up under huge tents, selling tons of stuff. Shoppers walk away with antiques, home furnishings, decorator mistakes, and shop merchandise that are unbelievable!
Count on finding that perfect treasure: a bed, swatch of fabric, garden and outdoor items, remnants, artwork, mirrors, European trims, and tons of smalls along with amazing odds and ends that are marked to move. There are over 40 dealers that will all be there with tons of goodies they need to sell before their next shopping trip.
Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc. will be on hand hosting a meet and greet adoption day. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc.
Take a break and enjoy delicious food and drinks – just to name a few: gumbo and chili by Mary Lou and Daniel Marks, award winning pimento cheese, hummus, and cookies by Janice Schindler of Words & Food, fresh artisan breads and croissants by Angela’s oven, fresh cheeses by the Houston Dairy Maids, BBQ and drinks by the men of the Knights of Columbus, and chilled ice coffee by Mickey Morales of Katz Coffee!
