I am a pen snob. Left handed. Teacher. These pens have me finding excuses to write! I generally hate gel pens because I smear them so quickly when I write, but these are amazing. Also, unlike other color-ink pens, the yellow and lime green are easily legible! I highly recommend these pens! Well worth the cost.

Really good color variety, but they do write pretty thick at a 0.7 ballpoint. Minimal bleed through so that's nice too! They offer a really comfortable grip for long note taking. Overall impressed, would buy again in the fine tip - 0.5.

I'm a pen weirdo. I've been a teacher for thirteen years, and in my early years I accepted anything that writes. Now, I have my favorite and it's InkJoy Gel Pens. I accept no substitutions (though, Bic Cristals will always hold a special place in my heart.)

Here's what's great about them:
1. They come in vibrant, fun colors! This particular pack has two of my favorites-- teal and purple. Both colors are appropriate for what I do with them (i.e., writing in my planner, writing notes on stickies, giving student feedback, etc. I'm not signing legal paperwork over here!) The lime green is a little light, but overall, InkJoy makes pens that are legible-- no crazy unreadable neons (except in the larger pack, where yellow is an option-- and I barely use that one for that very reason!)

2. The flow! Man, flow is important when it comes to my pens, and these pens have THE BEST FLOW. Gel pens can get ruddy and choppy and can be very unfun to write with, but not these guys-- they are smooth, effortless, beautiful!

3. They don't smear and they don't bleed. I dunno, other reviewers complained that they did, but maybe they used them wrong? I'm going to chalk it up to user error because I never ever have a problem. I've used these pens for a few years and it's always a great experience.

The only drawback, I guess, is the price. They're more expensive than a ball point pen, but hey, you get what you pay for, and a good writing experience matters to me.

I absolutely love these pens! I like to color coordinate my notes in class so these are perfect. The 14 pack comes with a variety of bright colors including yellow and lime green. I usually have a hard time finding those two, so that was definitely a plus! All of the pens write smoothly and they do dry very fast. They have a very comfortable grip. I also do a lot of journaling, so I would recommend these for that as well. The pens do not bleed through medium thick paper. I haven't tested them on loose-leaf paper yet. I'm definitely ordering these again when the ones I have run out of ink!

Pretty Colors but.....

I normally use G2 by Pilot but saw these and wanted to try. I was very excited when they arrived as the colors are great. They write nice and all the colors are vibrant but within a week of having them every single pen started to leak ink. It would be such a bummer if it was just 1 pen but ALL of them leak. Wouldn't recommend them.

A Disappointing Purchase

Half of the pens I used so far just stopped working. I try shaking them and it looks like there is ink in the cartridge, but the ink isn't transferring to the paper. I tried different surfaces, leaving pens sit to use at a later date, using more and using less pressure - but the purples and blues just don't work very well. I'm just kind of bummed because I am usually very happy with Paper Mate products. This is also more than I would typically spend on journaling pens, which makes this purchase more depressing.

Paper Mate has made a unicorn gel pen! I love them! I love that they are click pens, and come in a lot of colors. I bought them for a little over a dollar a pen and for me that is a pretty good bargain. I use these in my planner and do not get shadowing on the other side, which I appreciate.
