I am really picky about what I wear in the car for a road trip or travel in general. I don’t like anything that is restricting/tight, itchy/hot or just plain uncomfortable. My travel outfit basically needs to feel like pajamas. I spend a lot of time thinking about my travel outfits so I thought I’d share them with you. Last weekend I went to Dallas to do a good friend’s closet. Here, I’m walking out the door to head to Dallas. This road trip outfit had to look nice enough for dinner upon arrival and meet all my requirements. A breakdown of the outfits are at the end of the post.
This is me and Veronica in her closet. Yes, Veronica’s closet is huge.
We had a really good chuckle over these pants. She was a great sport and let me take a picture. She was the President of our Sorority and she would wear these very stylish pants to our meetings but…that was quite a few years ago.
Look at all the new found space she has! Here, are some new outfits we paired up for her. If you look hard enough, in the middle of the bunch is a very old but very cool gap floral blouse. The tag had the original gap logo with the lower case g!
I hate this picture because I’m posing next to a car. For the record, it’s my husband’s car and frankly I don’t like it for a myriad of reasons but I had the thought to take a picture of my #2 road trip outfit right before I was getting in the car.
