YES!, there is a trend that’s comfortable and functional, I’m so excited- fashionable sneakers! After posting my Tretorn’s last summer, my love for sneakers has exploded. So, of course, I noticed when all the wedge sneakers started hitting the stores. Now, I didn’t buy wedge sneakers, but I did buy Converse. Clearly Converse have been around for a long time, but maybe that’s why I purchased them and not the wedge sneaker- they’re a classic. Or maybe I just don’t feel cool enough for the wedge sneakers. It also could be that I’m just afraid I’m going to eat it in the wedge sneakers. But, when it’s all said and done, I’d prefer to run errands, take the kids to a birthday party or the park in flats.
That’s not to say that I won’t eventually try the wedge sneaker trend. But, for now, I am loving my new Converse. I bought them last weekend and I’ve worn them almost everyday!

Love these too!

I thought about these because they were a cross between the wedge sneaker and a flat.

I’ve had my eye on these! If I were to ever pull the trigger on the wedge sneaker trend these are the ones I would buy! How cute would these be with white skinny jeans, blue jean shorts or work out clothes (I just had a flashback to Jane Fonda wearing leg warmers)!

I want wedge sneakers so bad! Preferably the Simply Vera ones in black. I had 3 pairs of Converse a lonnnnng time ago but they were the high top ones.

Think I’m probably too old. Will just go with my Converse.

I kind of despise the high-top sneaker trend…definitely too old for that look. It would be cute on 20’somethings though!

I love your look – classy but casual. I do a lot of walking around town, so I’m always looking for comfy shoes for that. I have yet to find cute sneakers (I usually do clogs), but seeing this post makes me want to try again.
