The Printed Denim Trend

The printed denim trend is all over the stores. I love it but I was a little hesitant to jump in. But, when I found myself in a real life “splurge vs. steal” situation, I had to jump in and I’m so glad I did!

One afternoon, after helping a client at Nordstrom, I decided to do some “research” of my own (this is what I call shopping now that I’ve started this blog- ha!). I saw these Marc by Marc Jacobs jeans (left) and I instantly loved them. However, when I looked at the price tag I knew I didn’t want to pay that price for my introduction into the printed jean trend. Natalie (the best sales person ever- check her out here) saw the look on my face and immediately showed me a pair of jeans that looked exactly the same, but for half the price! Printed jean trend here I come! Yes, I will take the steal, thank you very much!

I must say, now that I’ve made the plunge into printed denim, I would definitely be comfortable paying a little more if I ran across another pair that I loved. I’ve been surprised with how easy it’s been for me to wear them. I just keep putting t-shirts with them! Any color looks cute and it just adds a fun little detail to the usual t-shirt and jean combo.
