I’m trying out a new post idea, so let me know if you guys like it. My sister and I were discussing how sometimes we just need outfit ideas, so I thought I would take selfies (clearly not professional) of some of my “everyday” outfits. I was working with what I had ready in my closet and hopefully you have some similar articles in your closet, too.
I thought I would start with this outfit since the chambray/jean shirt was so popular this fall. I used the sloppy tuck so that you could see a waistline.

I try to let the tee do what it wants at the waist. If you pull it down you’ll get holes in your tees.

I always get cold, so I added a white cardigan on top. Plus I feel like it takes the focus off the chest.

It’s been raining on and off here and I find myself using my army jacket as my raincoat. I’ve also been using it in place of a cardigan.

I just found these elastic shorts from J. Crew. They are so comfortable, I haven’t taken them off! So far I’ve worn this outfit to the park and the zoo- cool and comfortable.

Is that why you get holes in t-shirts!!! I have been wondering about this for years!!! I never realized that was it- ha! I kept searching for pebbles from my sons clothes in my washing machine– thinking thats why.
