Trench coat season is here! But, wait, isn’t a trench coat appropriate for all seasons? -ha! It’s an all weather, all purpose kind of coat. At least that’s how I use mine. I was working with a client recently who needed a trench coat for a few upcoming trips. Well, that got me thinking all about trench coats. I thought I’d share a few thoughts on this wardrobe staple, as well as a few of my favorites.
I’ve been wearing my trench a ton lately. It’s been raining, windy and cooler here in Houston, and my trench has been prefect. I love all the different features of trench coats. The buckles, the flaps, the belt, and the collar make each trench unique. Yesterday, my step mom brought over a Burberry trench coat that had been passed down to her, and you should have seen all the bells and whistles on that thing. It really was a very cool coat.
I had to include a picture of my new watch. I love it and think it’s perfect for the warmer months ahead! You’ll be seeing a lot of it, because it goes with everything!

you are RIGHT – I need a trench! So classic, and dressed up or down. My all-season coat is an orange leather coat, but it’s vintage and I’m starting to baby it because I love it so much.
