A Feel Good Outfit

If you follow along on Instagram, then you know I went to a style blogger conference this weekend. I can’t wait to to share the trip with you through my outfits. I dedicated a good amount of time to them (I mean, I had to represent, you know?!), so I can’t wait to share them with you. I’ve never worn heels so much in my life… well, at least not that high of heels anyway. But first I must share my travel outfits, because you know how particular I am about what I wear when traveling.

As you know, my travel outfits have to be comfortable. Most importantly, no cutting in at the waist while driving! I’m serious, it’s made me sick before. But they also have to easily transition into whatever I’m planning to do that night.

In this case, we were just headed to dinner, so this outfit was perfect! The best part about these pictures are that they were taken by Sheaffer of PinterestToldMeTo. Sheaffer and I had never met face to face, but as blogging friends, we had talked on the phone lots. “Well, hello! I know we’ve never met before, but do you mind taking pictures of me?” Oh, and then we shared a room and a bed -ha! But that’s just it, if you’ve ever met Sheaffer, then you know that she instantly makes you feel like you’re her best friend. And my goodness we had a blast!

Roomies Left to Right (Megan, Me, Cassie and Sheaffer)

Here’s a picture of all my roomies and me in the elevator headed to dinner. Can you tell we are all accustom to taking pictures in mirrors? Ha! I can’t tell you how many selfies were taken in one weekend. It was hysterical being at a style blogger conference, because it was no big thing to walk by people that were taking pictures of themselves or having their pictures taken. And none of us would bat an eye.

This was my travel outfit for the drive home. Good thing I was comfortable since I got a flat tire! Not that I changed it, but I did a lot of sitting around.
