If you’ve been following the blog for some time, then you know that this outfit is totally my style, except for one thing…. can you guess? Yup, it’s the heels. Although I absolutely love these heels (they are actually pretty comfortable as far as heels go), I’d much rather be in flats or kitten heels.
But, that’s why I love this outfit. The base is a basic outfit with hints of dressy added on top. The jeans and tee can totally be worn with cute, flat sandals for lunch with friends, but here I added a blazer, heels and jewels for a dressier look for my conference. It’s so versatile, which make this is a perfect outfit for a trip!
I also love to playing with different styles in one outfit. In this outfit, the blazer and heels make it sophisticated and the hole-y jeans add a little edge. In another case, these hole-y jeans would look darling with a pink checked polo and white tennis, combining preppy with edgy! I’m constantly trying to combine and balance styles in outfits, and I really like how this one turned out!

I smiled when I saw your heels. I know you almost never wear them, but I like how they dress up this outfit!

Love your blog and your outfits are great. One thing I don’t get is the ripped jeans…..what do people find attractive about these? They have holes in them with all the threads hanging down. I guess it’s just me because I see them all the time and I know they are not cheap!! Have a great day!!

Yes, I know how you feel. I think I said at one point that I would never buy hole-y jeans -ha! When my clients ask me about the hole-y jeans I say, they may or may not be your style, either way it’s your style, and whatever you choose is grrreat!
