What do you wear on a trip when you know you’ll be driving around town, eating lunch, shopping, and having cocktails and dinner at a beach club?
A jumpsuit! I was so surprised at how well this jumpsuit worked. I felt appropriately dressed in every situation, not to mention, super comfy and well, hip. I don’t know why, but the jumpsuit made me feel hip -ha!
I knew I was going to get cold in the evening, so I brought a light weight v-neck sweater to throw on top. And just a tip, it’s not easy to find a good layering piece to go over a jumpsuit. I tried on jackets, cardigans, and my jean vest for my sister in law, and in the end, the sweater looked best.
But since I’m practical, I have to tell you about my underpinnings. You see, I very much dislike wearing strapless bras. So, I decided to just wear this bra I have from Gap, because it has spaghetti straps, and I didn’t feel like it took away from the look of the jumpsuit. Plus it provided good coverage.
Jumpsuit- Calypso St Barth, Sweater- J.Crew, Bra- Gap, Shoes- J.Crew, Watch- Michael Kors, Earrings- Nordstrom, Necklace-Noonday Collection (sold out), Madewell for similar, Bracelet- Giles and Brother
I can’t wait to feel just as hip wearing this jumpsuit around town on a Saturday with the family, running errands or going out at night. And the best part, I’ll be comfortable, yet hip and chic -ha!

It has everything to do with the background and nothing to do with me:). Thank you, friend.

You look great in that! I’m sure as soon as I left the house I’d have to use the restroom.
