I have always, always loved the hole-y sweater look. I remember I wore a hole-y sweater/shirt on one of my first dates with my husband, and I felt so cool. But, how does one wear the hole-y sweater? I’ve always just worn a black camisole under, but I wanted to wear my new sweater more (and lucky for you, it’s on SALE). I wanted to reinvent it/give it a fresh look, so I decided to try something a little different. I added a white oxford under the sweater, and I love how it turned out! Plus, it adds an extra layer of warmth. This is perfect, because I’m planning on wearing this sweater to the SALE this weekend, and it’s going to be really, really cold outside.
I also love that the white oxford accentuates the hole-y look! It aids in amping up the “coolness” of the holes, no? I had to pop the collar, of course! But, I turned down just the tips of the collar for full effect -ha!
I also love that this particular oxford added a little extra length to the sweater on the back side. I like the way it looks. Oh, and I also throw an oxford on anytime I wear a sweater that’s just a little see through.
I’ve been keeping my accessories on the lighter side these days, other than my blingy earrings. Ha!
I’m super excited to wear this outfit to the SALE on Saturday! Since it’s suppose to be cold and rainy, I’ll probably switch my shoes to these. If you live in or around Houston, you have to check out the SALE. Everyone is invited! You get to shop and help cure children’s cancer! Done.

Hi Pam,
I loved meeting you on Saturday! I enjoyed our chat! The shoes and shirt are from J. Crew. I added some great alternative links (above) that I think are great “similars”.

I love this outfit and love the purse. You’re beautiful! You would probably look like a model if someone photographed you loading the dishwasher…
Carly Lee says
Jen, Hahahaha! Probably not, because I very much dislike unloading the dishwasher so I would have a scowl on my face. HA! You “NEED” the purse! I’ll tell Max. 😉

What color Oxford would you put under a white holy sweater (Loft)?
Carly Lee says
Michelle, I think a light blue oxford would look great!
