I think I’ve been under a rock or something! Am I the only one who had not heard of Bobbi Brown’s “Beach” Scent?!?! It all started when I hugged my friend- I instantly gasped and told her, “You smell like vacation!”. Seriously, it was that coconut-y, sunscreen (I happen to love that smell), beach air smell that is unmistakable. It’s also the only scent that is easily described over the internet, because you guys already know the smell I’m talking about. They describe it much more elegantly as “a lightly intoxicating blend of sand, jasmine, sea spray and mandarin” -ha! Well, it smells like that, too. So, of course after smelling it, I had to buy it, and I’ve worn it everyday since. Seriously, everyday and I’m not even a perfume person- I haven’t worn a scent in years!

But as it happens, Nordstrom was running a special to receive a free gift with a $100 purchase, and they still are! Well, I wish I remembered that I needed to buy myself some blush, but I didn’t, so I ended up buying “Bath“! Can I be honest? I feel silly admitting this, but it was the only sample bottle that was almost empty, so I knew it had to be a good scent, right?!? Well, I can now say it definitely is! I’m not going to try and describe this one, so this is what they say: “It’s a fresh-out-of-the-shower fragrance that is fresh and crisp…contains notes of water hyacinth, orange flower and white lily for a light scent that lingers all day.” When I was talking to my friend about my new scent, she told me that she used to mix other scents with “Beach“. Ummm, great idea! So all today I’ve been wearing “Beach” and “Bath” together, and I love it! A new scent has been born! I think I’ll try mixing all my perfumes with “Beach” and see which one I like best! Well, these scents are definitely being added to the ten things I’m loving right now! So funny you wrote about this today because I just bought a bottle today. I have been searching for a summer scent and this is it. Love it!! Summer at it’s best. I may have to check out Bath after hearing you rave about it.
That’s crazy! Try “Bath”, but also try combining “Beach” with some of your other scents! It’s really fun!
