It’s Rodeo time in Houston- Yay! I love the Rodeo. I don’t get to go as much as I used to, but I still love it (I think I went like 9 times in 8th grade- ha)! If you’re not from Houston (well, maybe even if you are), you may be wondering, “What in the world- what’s so fun about a dirt arena, and who cares what you wear to it?” Well, I can’t explain the first part, but maybe my sister can in her post here. As for the second part, I’m telling you…some of these ladies know how to dress! Rodeo “Cowgirl Chic” (my name for Rodeo attire) can be kinda tricky, especially if you don’t wear boots everyday, like me. I thought I’d do a couple of posts on the subject to help those of you in the same predicament.
The denim on denim trend is so in right now (I even saw it on the Today Show as a trend to follow- ha!). So, why not pair it with your cowboy boots?! If you’re looking for a good place to shop for “Cowgirl Chic”attire, Lucky Brand (where my belt is from) has great, trendy stuff.
