Inspired: Jackets

I know I’ve said this a lot, but I often get inspired by clients. I’ve never been much of a “jacket wearer”. It’s not that I dislike them, I just don’t gravitate towards them for some reason. I’ve had a few clients who love jackets because of the silhouette and coverage it gives them. They were right, and I took notice. I started to realize that jackets had the same effect that a cardigan or open sweater has on a silhouette! Well, consider me a “jacket wearer” now- ha!

The fatigue jacket (aka army jacket) trend is going crazy right now. Well, I don’t know if I should call it a trend because an army jacket is such a classic, but oh well- ha! I purchased this one from Nordstrom and I love it! Inside it has drawstrings that you can cinch to give you a waist. I love it too because it’s not super thick canvas, which is important when living in Texas. I’ve also been so surprised by how neutral this color is. It doesn’t clash with anything, not even pink wells! But what I love about it most is the price- $59, which I think is pretty good for a jacket!
