This year I’m asking a lot from my swimsuit! My kids are still young, so I need a suit that is wardrobe malfunction proof, we’re going on a family vacation to the beach, and we have some swim parties where we’ll be in mixed company (colleagues and parents of my kids friends)- ahhh! I was in need of a bathing suit that was going to function well for all these events, and needless to say, when I saw this swimsuit I was sold hook, line and sinker.
One of the best things about this suit is that I can chase after my active boys without constantly checking my top, or worrying if I am covered up. I can just have fun, even in mixed company. J. Crew has a matching bikini top to go under, which I purchased, but my friend told me that she just wears her sports bra under her rash guards, genius!
No matter how much sunblock I put on, I always manage to get sunburned on my back. I knew during my beach vacation that I would be in the sun for long periods of time and well, this rash guard is UPF 50+ -YES! Plus, I love the black zipper detail!
And, it kinda acts as it’s own cover up, which makes it easy to wear for a poolside or beachside lunch!
I am also loving this option from Splendid.

Carly, I have the same rash guard suit from J. Crew that you have (in the white with navy). It’s super cute, but are you doing something underneath it? I feel like I need something under, but most of my bikini tops wouldn’t give me the best bust line…do you know what I mean. What are you wearing under yours in the picture?
