Until I started “researching” (aka shopping) for cover-ups, I don’t think I realized how beautiful cover-ups can be. I found that so many of them were so beautiful that they could stand alone as a piece of art. A few of my favorites are above! To me, they all function really well and have their own look and style. I like that you could run into the drug store or walk around the beach town (if you are so lucky) in these cover-ups and you’d be oh so stylish and comfortable! If I could, I’d buy them all and live in them all summer. Wouldn’t that be fabulous!

On my search, I found these splurge vs. steal rompers.I like the idea of a black romper as a coverup. I feel like it functions really well, specifically if you’re going to dinner after. The black will hide the fact that you’re wearing a wet bathing suit, but I saw many other cute colorful rompers, too. I love both of these rompers and they would make for a perfect cover up.

I love these shorts for a cover-up option. The designer pair are lace and really pretty, but the Old Navy pair are linen, which dry off pretty quickly! I have the linen pair in black and I’ve been wearing them as a cover-up for a few weeks. They work like a charm!

Loved this post! I have a peplum top for my bathing suit and cover ups often make it look bulky, so throwing those white shorts over it works perfectly!
