Friendly Reminder

I know it comes as no surprise to you that I get A LOT of J. Crew e-mails. I remember reading an e-mail in which they interviewed Gayle, the fashion director for J. Crew. I can’t remember the exact wording (and I searched and searched for it) but they asked her, “What is one of the biggest mistake women make in their closets?”. Her response was something along the lines of putting away certain clothes based on the season. When I read it I was like, YES, YES, YES!

But then the summer hit in Houston… and I certainly was not thinking about bringing out my winter clothes. Until I saw a very cute girl in jean shorts and a 3/4 length sleeve cotton top and I was like YES, YES, YES, again! She even tucked her top in and wore a cute tan leather belt. So, what did I do? Wore a 3/4 length sleeve top the next day…
