In fact, one of my very favorite color combinations is navy and black. I remember a long time ago a rule floated around that you couldn’t wear navy and black together. Well, let’s put that in the past and wear black and navy!
One of my besties (who happens to be sitting right next to me while I work on this post) just told me that she still probably won’t wear black and navy. Whhhhhhhhhatttttt?!?! Hold on. Now I need to make another attempt…. I guess my outfit wasn’t convincing enough -ha!
I love every single one of these looks! And I think the picture of Olivia Palermo (top right corner) just convinced my friend, too! Yes! How about you? I hope so!

Several years ago I accidentally wore a black sweater and navy shirt to work. It was just too dark in my house in the morning to tell the difference. I was mortified and thought someone should have taken me out and shot me. I’m glad to know now that it was okay. 🙂
