Have you all heard of Roma Boots? You probably have since they’ve been featured on Today, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar, Huffington Post, and Forbes, just to name a few.
Meet Samuel, the founder of Roma (Amor spelled backwards). He created ‘a buy one give one’ fashionable rain boot company. For every pair sold, Roma donates a pair of boots to a child in need. Not to mention, 10% of their profits go to the Roma For All Foundation, which aspires to help children break the cycle of poverty. Talk about “giving poverty the boot“!
Check them out! I’ve mentioned them on the blog before, when Roma boots participated in a shopping night I co-hosted. The biggest question of the night (and on the blog) was, “what color should I get?!?!”. And with all the fun colors they offer, it’s a hard decision! But this time I went with black because they match everything! I love that these are a high gloss black. So chic, no?
For the boys I went with their favorite colors, green and blue! And since I bought their favorite colors, their raincoats matched. Not that I really cared, but it sure did make for cute pictures -ha! Oh, and I particularly love the black soles and stripe at the top. It’s different and really makes the colors pop.
Roma has a goal to give away over 10,000 boots this year. I want to help them reach that goal! So guess what my god-son, god-daughter, nieces and nephews will be receiving this year on their birthday/Christmas?!?!? Yup, that’s right, a brightly colored pair of fashionable rain boots! It’s a no brainer. It gives another child a pair of boots while helping all the kiddos in my life (and yours) understand what it means to give back. Conscientious consumerism at it’s finest! It’s a win, win!

I love that you did a post for Roma!!! I was looking for some rain boots in January, but really wasn’t wanting Hunter… I saw your old post featuring Roma, and realized they have a store front in very near where I live in Dallas. And I loved what I saw online – for kids and adults! Anyway, I went to the store and I met the owner – the NICEST man. He chatted with us and told his whole story – I loved it. And they were preparing a shipment for the foundation… which was very cool to see. I bought a navy pair for myself and a blue pair for my 2 year old. They quickly became our favorites. Everyone should have a pair!
