I have a friend who is totally a work out guru, unlike me. And if I could, I would take her entire closet of workout clothes! She wore “hot pants” (that’s my name for them, anyway) one day and ever since, I’ve wanted a pair for myself! Thanks skinny2strong for the inspiration!
So, on my work out wear shopping trip, I found these “hot pants“! But, they’re not just any hot pants! They are made by Onzie with a figure-hugging, breathable, “free-flow” fabric that is perfect for spinning, swimming and running. I went on a walk on an extremely hot day and I was sweating profusely, even my legs -yuck! My other work out pants would have made me hotter, but these didn’t. In fact, when I walked into the AC, my pants got cold!!! That felt so good! Now I’m obsessed and I want to get this pair and this pair.
And then I found this retro NIKE top! I absolutely love the hip look of it, but what I love most about it is that it covers the front area. It functions the same as my other top from Friday’s post– throw it on before, during and after a workout for extra coverage.
And then there was the hair band issue. I can never find a hair band that doesn’t fall down or off and keeps my hair back. I found this one in a pack of 5 at Walgreens, and I am really loving it! It kept my hair back, gave me a cute poof, and didn’t hurt!
Top- Nike, Hot Pants- Onzie, Tank- Target, Bra- Lululemon, Shoes- ASICS for similar, Sunglasses- Ray Ban, Necklace- Shopbop, Earrings- Nordstrom for similar, Hair Band- Scunci
And that’s all she wrote on the work out wear. I also bought this cute tie dye tank, because well, you know I couldn’t help myself! But that will probably be it for the next 4 years -ha! Back to the regular everyday outfits. I had fun with these work out wear posts, but as I said I’m not a work out (wear) guru, so back to everyday wear on the blog -ha!

I just have to commend you for keeping your blog posts so REAL. It’s really refreshing to read about a lifestyle and clothing purchases that I can relate to and afford. Thanks for being such a great blogger in a sea of cookie-cutter girls. Keep it up!
