Favorite Finds: President’s Day Edition

Here are some of my recent finds from when I’ve been out and about. Since tomorrow is President’s Day, I’m sure a lot of these items will be on SALE, but since I don’t know all of the sales before you guys, we will have to wait and see!

In my mind, If I were to only post these two pairs of shoes, this favorite finds post would be complete. But don’t worry, there is more -ha! I purchased these shoes on Tuesday (yes, both pairs, because I couldn’t decide), and I’ve worn them almost everyday. My sister was with me, and she bought them, too. And the best part? The price. I don’t know if these will be on sale for president’s day, so cross your fingers and click to see :). I usually wear an 8.5 in shoes, and the 8 was a perfect fit. I love marled sweaters, and I especially love that this one is a high-low sweater. If I had not just stocked up on sweaters, I’d be all over this one. Plus, it’s 40% off with the code BRLOVEYOU. I’m wearing an XS in the picture.

How cute is this top?!? You can dress it up or down. It’d be perfect to wear to work with a skirt or slacks. But could be worn just as easily with jeans and jean shorts. The peplum waistline is universally flattering. I had to size up on this shirt. I usually wear an extra small, and I’m wearing a small in these pictures.

Comfortable and stylish- do they co-exist in a pair of shoes? They do now.

Warning: you may want to back up from this picture. Talk about up close and personal -ha! Well it’s official, Modesty by MAC is my new favorite “natural” lip color. I’ve been looking for a natural lip color for years and I am so indebted to my friend Cathy for introducing it to me!

If you follow along on Instagram, then you’ve seen this jacket before. I’ve been seeing lots of cute outfits paired with jean jackets for the spring, so when I found this one (I’m wearing indigo wash in XS) at J. Crew, I snatched it up. This jacket has been perfect to wear recently, because it’s been bright and sunny, but a little chilly. I’ve been grabbing it instead of my stand-by cardigan. J. Crew has lots cute styles in different washes right now, you can check them out (here). I’m so hoping J. Crew is running a President’s Day SALE for you guys! I paid full price (frowny face).

My new colorful bracelet just makes me happy. It’s just plain fun. It reminds me of everything that’s good about being a girl, all wrapped up in one bracelet. So naturally, I can’t take it off. (Look down at wrist, smile… See a flash of wrist, smile. A friend says, “Cute, colorful bracelet”, smile.) See? Lots of happy. Other bracelets- here, here, here and here.
