If I’ve had the privilege of dressing you, then you know I can be somewhat obsessive about having a well fitting bra. I’ve tightened many bra straps, I’ve had clients go upside down to ensure the breasts are in the right position, and I’ve headed straight to the bra department in the middle of an appointment to get new bras. I can just hear my clients eyes roll as they read this -ha! It may have to do with my own personal history (here), but to me, if your boobs are not supported, the entire outfit can look sloppy. I’m not saying this to be mean, it’s just what I’ve observed. For that reason, if I could start all my appointments in the bra department, I would -ha! BUT that might be kinda weird… Anyways, you get my point- supportive bras are important.
Natori Bra// Wacoal Bra
I’ve had many requests to share my favorite bras (specifically for large chested women like myself). These are the two bras that have made the cut as of late. I prefer simple bras that I can wear with any type of top (t-shirt, silk, tight tank…etc). The top one is by Natori, and the bottom one is by Wacoal. To ensure a supportive fit, the Wacoal bra comes in a variety of sizes.
This is my favorite strapless bra by DKNY. I have clients that don’t mind wearing a strapless bra, but I very much dislike it. However, this strapless bra has made it much easier for me. It’s supportive but not uncomfortable, and it has these comfortable sticky strips in the back that help it stay up.
While we’re on the subject, I had a friend ask me the other day what kind of thongs I wear. Well, I owe all the credit to my sister (@tellittoyourneighbor). I swear, she finds the best panties. She introduced me to these no frill thongs from Gap Body years ago, and I’ve been wearing them ever since. They are basic, breathable cotton, and they hold up very well wash after wash.

Do you have a suggestion for a bra that is design to not have the straps fall down? I have trouble with that!

My straps rarely fall down when I’m wearing the Wacoal bra. If they do, I tighten them and it’s not a problem. I hope this helps.

Ugh, I’ve been struggling to find a good bra …. my girls seem so …. heavy LOL & no bra seems to want to support them. I’ve tried Wacoal, didn’t like them at all. Will have to find out where to buy Natori.

Hahahah! Good Luck! If you order from Nordstrom it’s free shipping and free returns.

Just found your blog (through Insta), love it. I swear by Natori and Josie. I am a 34C but I used to have smaller boons and I never got used to them being so heavy, lol. Anyway I think Natori offers the best support and contour for medium-sized cups as mine. I love in particular the one that has a clear plastic strip between the two cups (instead of fabric). I had one years ago that I have worn to death (of the bra) and I could never find another one until recently at Bloomingdales.

Boobs not boons!
