Well, Christmas is around the corner and if you are like me, you are at a total loss when it comes to your guy. At a girls night with my friends, we were discussing if they would like to see more menswear on C. Style, and they emphatically answered, YES! So when Nordstrom asked if I would consider doing a post on the menswear brand, Peter Millar, I said ABSOLUTELY! Here’s why:
Yup, check out all the Peter Millar my husband has in his closet. As I’ve mentioned before, he’s kinda picky when it comes to clothes, but so is his wife -ha! But, it’s a great thing when it comes to trusting what he buys. So girls, I’ve got buying for your guy this Christmas taken care of! And, if you order today, it’s guaranteed to be at your house before Christmas. Oh, and as always, it’s free shipping. Why go to the mall?!?!?
These shorts are where it all started. I had been trying for a couple of years to get him into a flat front short or pant, and these ended up being his first pair! They were the perfect fit- they weren’t too tight in the crotch area, they were on the longer side (not short shorts… ), and they looked manly but updated without the pleats, you know what I’m saying!?!?! YAY!!! Finally he’s wearing flat front shorts and pants! Thank you, Peter Millar! If you’ve been trying to gently guide your guy into wearing flat front, try these out. Just order one pair, have him try them on in the comfort of his own home and when he puts them on, tell him how fabulous he looks! I mean, really go on and on and on and on -ha! Guys need a little encouragement, too. But, only if you really think they look good, that is -ha!
Now my husband’s asked me for their twill pants for Christmas. Done and done. And the best part is, I get to pick out the color, and they have some really fun colors. Although, I will probably just end up starting off with khaki… is that boring?! Ha!
I love this sweater, too! I really like the zipper because it allows you to still see the dress shirt underneath and it feels a little more updated than the standard sweater.
Maybe your guy needs a new sport coat. I’d say go navy all the way, BUT if he already has one and would like another to add to his closet, this one is perfect. I love the window pane detail. I see this sport coat being very versatile. It would look great with navy or chocolate brown slacks, khakis and jeans! Now that’s versatile!
And Peter Millar does performance wear, too! Ummm how cool would you be if you bought your guy golf attire? I’m just saying! The polo shirt and pants have special wicking abilities and the pullover is wind resistant.
But, here is your home run! What guy wouldn’t like a nice polo shirt with his Alma Mater on it?! And, he’d probably never buy this for himself because it’s so nice. You’re pretty much guaranteed he will like it, I mean, it’s his school! It’s a slam dunk, or wait, I said home run.
