Part 3 is all about working with what you have in your closet. I thought it would be fun to show how you can dress up your little black dress or, in my case, a black shirt and skirt paired together to look like an LBD -ha!
To me, there is no easier way to dress up an outfit than with really fun jewelry. I especially like big, colorful, statement jewelry for the holidays. It shows that you’re festive and happy and ready to celebrate, you know?!? So grab your biggest, craziest jewelry and throw it on! Oh, and if you could have seen me before the red lipstick… I’m telling you, after I put my lipstick on it was like an instant holiday makeover. It’s a must! I love my NARS ‘Dragon Girl’ and ‘Luxembourg’. I’m wearing ‘Luxembourg’ in the pictures.
Once again I’m sporting my poofy bun. It’s just so festive and dressy, yet so easy… I can’t help myself -ha! Oh, and pay no mind to the scraggly, pathetic Christmas tree. It’s really not that cute, but it was my husband’s and my first Christmas tree that we bought at Marshall’s many years ago. I can’t let it go…
I added the pink clutch for a fun pop of color. I paired the skirt and shirt with a thick, black leather belt, but I was so wishing I had the Club Monaco belt from my favorite finds post (here).
