I don’t know if you guys were aware of this, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has an exclusive online section. Well, you know I couldn’t help myself. I had to peruse, and I’m so glad I did. This is what I found:
This is the first item I put in my cart. I know I will wear this dress a ton! I’ll be able to dress it up with jewelry for cocktail attire, it’s sexy enough for a date night (but comfy, I always eat too much on date night:), I’ll be able to wear it to work stuff, and I can wear it casually. This is one versatile LBD. Plus, it’s perfect if you’re in a “transition” period.
Do you guys remember this sweater I wore all the time last year (see here, here, and here)? Well, that one wasn’t cashmere, but this one is!! Now that I know I love this style and I can wear it lots, maybe I’ll invest in a cashmere version. I like that it’s cashmere for under $100.
I have been eyeing these boots since last fall. I had them in my Shopbop cart all last season in hopes the price would go down… Guess what!!?! Lucky for me, my wish came true! I’m so glad I checked the online exclusive section or I would have missed them! Here is the thing, I had a really hard time deciding which color because they come in navy too, and navy seems to be the big color for the fall! I ended up with the black, but I might just order the navy and then decide. 🙂
These might look familiar because I purchased the black pair last year during the Anniversary sale. I’ve been so happy with the quality and have worn them so much that I want them in another color. Work out pants can be so expensive, so the price on these make me really happy.
Ok, so I wouldn’t really jog in these pants, but I sure would wear a cute sporty sweater and some sneaks for a casual day running around. Sporty spice, no? -ha!
How chic is a green leather jacket? No, let me correct myself, a green FAUX leather jacket. Yes, it just got chicer now that it’s faux, because it’s less expensive than real leather and if I ever get sick of the green (which I don’t think is possible), it won’t be too heartbreaking.
I had to add this one, because you would seriously be the hippest person in the office if you wore this top. But that’s what I love about it, wear it to work with a blazer and then take the blazer off for happy hour. Then you can wear it that weekend with your black skinnies. Now how many tops can do that?

What color would you go with for the cashmere sweater? I’m drawn to the Heather & Navy, but perhaps I should go with color? I want this to be a staple that I can wear for years.
Love your blog!! I am a big fan and get excited when I see you’ve posted something new:-)

Thank you for reading, Jennifer! I personally bought my first cashmere sweater last year, and it was navy. I wore it all the time, but I wore the grey one I posted just as much. I guess we agree on navy and heather!

I’ve been really into navy this spring – so glad to hear it’s coming up hot in the fall! I will be on-trend (not usual for me!).

Thanks for the link! It reminded me to look for shoes I saw in the store today that weren’t available in my size. Found ’em!
