This weekend outfit inspiration is a little different, because let’s be honest, this is most likely what I’ll wear for at least half of Saturday (if not all of it) -ha! For the longest time I’ve had this white zip up hoodie that I would throw on over “workout” clothes. Well, it’s old, and I’ve been looking for a replacement. So when I found this one, I had to include it in my favorite finds, but it also needed a separate post.
I had to show you guys how perfectly it covers the tush.
And clearly I’m totally into the mesh strips in Zella’s leggings. I can’t help myself! I think it’s such a cool look. Since it’s been too cold to run in my new capris, I bought the leggings.
But you know what else I’m into? Workout tanks that you can wear a normal bra under. This is perfect for when I’m not really working out, and I don’t want to wear a sports bra. My friend told me about this trick, which I didn’t fully appreciate the genius of until recently. Oh, and this tank can be pulled down to “cover” if need be (if you catch my drift). So naturally, when Nordstrom asked me to check out their active wear to share with you guys, it was a no brainer.
Why am I in a parking garage in my workout wear? Well, it’s a really cool parking garage… I’m serious! HAHAHA! It was also freezing outside, and the garage was warm. And this was where I met my sister for lunch. Here’s to a sporty chic Saturday morning outfit!

How’s the sizing on the Nike jacket? Would you say it’s true to size? It looks good enough to run around town in and I love the long back.

Hi Mary, I’m wearing a small in the pictures. I usually wear an x-small, but I sized up in this jacket for comfort. I hope this helps.
