My eagle shopping eye continues in the Handbags and Accessories department (oh, and I went back to shoes, too)…
Bag– Oh, how I love fringe and Frye! I love how fringe can make even your work out clothes look cooler -ha! I love that fringe can add a fun element to any of your outfits, and I especially love how fringe looks with jeans and a tee. That’s why I’m starting with this bag! I think Frye makes such a great quality product. I like that this bag doesn’t have any extra details. It just stands alone as a cool fringe bag! I love the whiskey color, too!
Bag– Now, I didn’t actually try this on because it’s online only, but here is what I like about it. First off, I love the price. It’s only $37.90, but nothing screams cheap to me, so I like it even more. I love totes- I wear my Madewell tote practically everyday. It just works for my lifestyle. Plus, python goes with everything, no matter whether your wearing black, brown or camel. My friend taught me this trick.
Clutch– How cute is this ombre leather envelope clutch? I love that it covers a spectrum of colors- black, brown, cream, grey, silver and a hint of gold. You know what it reminds me of? One of those animal hair clutches that cost an arm and a leg and you are freaked the whole time you’re carrying it that you are going to get something on it! Well, no worries with this clutch, because the price is right. Plus it can be wiped clean.
Bag– If you are looking for a carryall tote for the winter, this one seems ideal to me. It’s vegan leather so you don’t have to worry too much about it. It’s big enough to carry your laptop and/or running shoes. Heck, you can even wear it as a purse.
Sunglasses– Well, I tried on quite a few pairs of sunglasses, and these blew all the others I tried on away! What I really love about them is the price. For someone who likes to change out sunglasses and who can’t really keep sunglasses in the case, the price was right. But what I like most is the shape. It’s not overtly cat eye, and it’s not overtly over sized but just the right amount of both. They’re fun, current sunglasses that aren’t at designer prices. I like. And here they are in a fun blue color…
Sunglasses– How fun, funky and colorful are these?!?! I bought them for my FUN aunt for her birthday!
Necklace– Well, if you’ve been following along for any amount of time, then you have probably seen a similar bar necklace on me. I wear it ALL the time! My friend was wearing this one at lunch this week, and I love it! And now it’s on sale! If you’ve had your eye on a bar necklace, this is it.
Necklace– I am a sucker for dainty necklaces– I have quite a few. They just seem like a pretty addition to any outfit, dressy or casual. I love to wear them alone. I also love wearing them layered. This one would look great both ways. Switch them up, or wear them together.
Earrings (left / right)- I am always looking for alternative earrings to my gold hoops. Like my hoops, these aren’t too big or too flashy. To me, they are the perfect gold statement without being too big.
Earrings– I love these because solitaire earrings are a staple that can be worn everyday, but these are different. They are shallow in depth, so they don’t droop off your ear lobe which helps get you the most sparkle possible. I have 2 pairs of solitaire earrings, but I bought these too. I’m a sucker for some really good sparkle!
Earrings– Alright, although I’m always looking for gold hoop alternatives, I am also always looking for a good priced gold hoop -ha! Well, here they are. Done.
Earrings– Gold diamond hoops? What’s not to like? Oh, and if you ask me, Nadri makes the best fake diamond jewelry out there. I’ve had quite a few pieces from them and they sparkle lots. Btw, I just picked up a pair of fake diamond hoops at a jewelry store that were $300! $39.90 sounds a lot better to me!
Earrings– Just in case you’re not crazy about the hoop shape (I have a lot of friends that feel this way), these earrings are for you! The price can’t be beat!
Scarf– I’m not sure how many scarves I have, but I do know I wear them ALL the time in the winter, like everyday. This is why a black and white, and a cream and black scarf make sense to me.
Scarf– About two years ago I purchased my first cashmere sweater. Now I get it. For someone who is cold natured (not in heart, just in temperature -ha!), cashmere actually keeps me warm! Not to mention how soft it is. Just imagine wrapping yourself in the warmest, softest scarf ever!
Sweater– What’s not to like about a classic, grey, cable knit, cashmere, cardigan (so much goodness in one sweater)?!
Sweater– I can see this going over practically any outfit for an extra layer of warmth. It seems like a really great staple.
Well, I ended up back in the shoe department! I couldn’t help myself!
Booties– I mentioned these in my original shoe post, but I wasn’t able to try them on. Well, I tried them on in Dallas, and I absolutely love them. I love that they are a sturdy wedge (as opposed to a heel), I love that they are not too high, I love that they can be worn dressy and casually, and I love that they look good with jeans just as well as they would with dresses. Done. I had to have them. They run true to size. The other Stuart Wietzman boots are on sale, too!
Wedges– Ok, Nordstrom is not fooling me with these, because last fall I fell in love with them while shopping for a client. She bought them, and for an entire year, I’ve wanted them. These are the exact same pair as last year. Well, now I have the perfect excuse! In Houston, I can wear these all year round, and I will -ha! I went up 1/2 a size in these.
The Anniversary Sale was so good this year! I hope my eagle shopping eyes have served you well!

I’ve noticed TOMS makes a similar tall wedge booties… do you think the Stuart Wietzmans are worth the extra money? They look so similar online…
Carly Lee says
Hi, That’s totally up to the buyer. I felt like the Stuart Wietzman booties were a little dressier. I hope this helps.
