Since cocktail season is upon us, I thought I would share one of my recent “I’ve got to share this” moments that I had while searching for a cocktail dress.
Recently, I was invited to a cocktail event and started “the search”. I was searching and searching for a dress, when I saw this dress hanging in the store. I immediately thought to myself, “Duh! Why didn’t I think of Clover Canyon?!”.
You see, I’ve been a fan of Clover Canyon (here, here and here) for a few years (I posted about it here). Clover Canyon makes really feminine, fun, colorful print dresses (along with other separates). But THE BEST PART is that most of the dresses are made from their signature fabric, neoprene. It’s the ultimate miracle fabric! It is disguising and therefore very flattering (basically scuba suit material, just not as thick). 
I used accessories I already had in my closet- my mom’s old Anne Klein earrings from the 80’s, my “banana box” ring, and my very favorite statement necklace that I sometimes wear as a bracelet (love that versatility).

Hi there! I’m wondering if you would be willing to tell me what size you’re wearing in this CC Ikat dress. I’m tempted to chance it and order it (final sale) but I haven’t worn Clover Canyon before so I’m just not sure of sizing. Thanks for your posts…I love them and your style!!
