It seems fashion sneakers are a big trend this season, largely in thanks to the Italian sneaker brand, Golden Goose (fashion sneaker outfits above). I absolutely love the look of Golden Goose, but I’m not crazy about the price (they run $450-$1,100). I ran into a friend recently who had an amazing pair of knockoffs, which immediately sent me searching for a good pair of knockoffs myself (her’s were sold out)! Well, let’s just call me the knockoff fashion detective!
Want to play my favorite game, Splurge vs. Steal?!? The game where you click on your favorite sneaker and you find out whether it’s the Splure or Steal?! This gets me all giddy because I firmly believe one doesn’t have to wear designer to be stylish!

Animal Print-
Animal print shoes add the perfect interest to any outfit and go with all sorts of colors and prints (even plaid!). If you find yourself wearing animal print loafers or flats a lot, it might be fun to add an animal print sneaker.

Black low tops-
If you are like me, and you wear a lot of black shoes in the fall/winter (scratch that, just in general), then a black pair of fashion sneakers makes sense.

If you wear black high tops all the time (like me), these would be fun to add to your repertoire. I can see wearing these with the faux leather leggings by Spanx and a fun sweater or flannel on top. Boom. Outfit made.

Pink sneakers-
I wasn’t going to include pink sneakers because it doesn’t seem very practical, but then I remembered how much I wear my pink sneakers! It serves the same purpose as animal print by adding a bit of interest, like a pop of color!

If you like them all, I did, too! I want every single pair of these sneakers for my closet -ha! I wouldn’t link to them if I wouldn’t wear them!
And if you just so happened to like the designer splurge sneakers A LOT, you’re not alone- I do, too! I actually wear sneakers a lot, so my cpw (cost per wear) would even out. I just need to think about whether I want to go for it or not.
