Do you have a baby boy, little boy, big boy, or teenage boy in your life? If so, this gift guide is for you! This truly is the best boy gift guide I’ve seen, and once again, it’s thanks to all of you!!! As a boy mom, I find this gift guide super legit. I’d buy each one of these items for my boys, but I think that goes without saying because I don’t post unless I’d buy the item -ha! Thanks again to all of you who sent in your gift ideas to me! They truly are the best gift ideas!
Squad Hero laser tag (@devinmccord)- Are you as skeptical of a laser tag set as I am? But I have to be honest, I’m actually going to buy this one for my family. I say FAMILY because it’s legit enough to be able to play with adults. I absolutely love games I can play with my kids, especially games where I can get a little exercise while doing it. I can just see my husband and I against our boys in our backyard or at our place in the country.
Kid’s Trivial Pursuit (@elizmccrary)- Remember how frustrating it was to play Trivial Pursuit with your parents because the questions were so hard?! I do. And I bet with this one, the kids would actually beat us – kinda like that game who’s smarter than a 5th grader.
Nintendo Switch (@katetx1228)- We actually have a Nintendo switch, and I decided to include it on here because it’s the one gaming console that hasn’t gone out of style with my boys. I think since it’s portable and has all the really good games. When the Wii U was replaced for the Xbox, the Switch still got played. It’s also good because one boy plays Fortnite on the Xbox, one plays on the Switch, and everyone is happy!
Pickleball Set (@elizmccrary)- I think we are the only family that doesn’t have a Pickleball set, BUT I desperately want one because everyone says how much fun it is to play! I saw so many people posting Pickleball games during quarantine!
Super73 Z Series Bike (@afwithers)- My son and I recently saw a boy riding an electric bike up to the local burger place with his friends, and you would have thought we were seeing an astronaut land on the moon. Since Covid, our bike riding to and from places has significantly increased. I’m thinking most kiddos are the same, which is why an electric bike would make an epic gift! @afwithers recommended the Super73 Z Series, and it looks epic. I also, found this less expensive one on Amazon.
Vinyl stickers (@athomewithkathleen)- My boys are obsessed with Micheal Jordan Sneakers (really, sneakers in general), but we certainly can’t buy them a whole bunch of sneakers. BUT, we can buy them MJ sneaker stickers to stick on their iPads, binders, lockers, camp trunks! Such a perfect low cost gift!
Sky Lite (@dabneyjunell)- This is the nightlight dreams are made of! Because of the way it projects all over and how precise the image is, this nightlight would make you feel like you are in space or in a galaxy. I’ve never seen anything like it.
LED strip lights – What kiddo doesn’t like making their room cool?! These LED strip lights allow for them to decorate however they see fit. My son put them under his beds so they are lit up from beneath, and my friends daughter put them around her crown molding!
Light up bath toys (@susannerowell)- I have some of the best memories watching my boys play in the tub when they were little. We had “Scuba Steve”, and these light up bath toys take it to an all new level! I can just imagine how much fun these would be!
Weighted Blanket (@512malia)- We included this in the Women’s Gift Guide, but I had to include again here! I’ve never wanted a weighted blanket until I looked at this one. With the look of one of those chunky knit designer blankets that are so popular right now, you’d never know it’s a weighted blanket. The chunky knit design allows for the weight to be evenly distributed. I’m in love with this gift idea. My son loves heavy blankets while he sleeps, so I’m getting him one.
The Comfy (@jeniselivesay)- The wearable blanket never gets old! Now you can step through the top of it with the 1/4 zip design!
Custom Christmas Ornament (@katrinango)- Every year, my boys get an ornament to remember the year by. This is perfect for a baby’s first Christmas ornament! You could put their birth date on it, or I can also see having a short bible verse put on it that represents our 2020 year.
Clue Board Game (@elizmccrary)- I had to put Clue on here to serve as a reminder that if you don’t have clue in your game closet and you have youngish kiddos, you gotta get Clue!
Rock Tumbler (@elduffin)- I want to go collect rocks from my yard and put them through this thing. I am just so darn curious!!! I mean, if I want to do this as an adult, what kid wouldn’t?! Plus, it has great reviews, which makes me even more curious -hahahahaha!
Pikler Triangle (@ksproul)- You want hours of entertainment for your toddler/young kiddos? Here’s your answer!!! My boys would have played on this thing non-stop! And I was talking to a friend the other day whose kiddos have one, and she said it’s amazing! She started naming all the ways they use it, including as the base of a fort!
Belinda Bailey says
Thanks so much for this!!! I needed some ideas for my boy, and these are great! I want to get Clue, The Rock Tumbler, the Space Sky Light and the LED lights. Yeay!
